Fancy Cat Studios is a creative studio, game development team, and multimedia content developer based in Palencia, Spain. Founded in 2023, the studio creates games, films, and interactive projects, earning several awards and selections for its different creative works.

Founded by:

David Montes Lopez (Daviidly)

David Montes Lopez, known online as Daviidly, is a Palencia-born game developer, filmmaker, and creative director who moves between interactive worlds, cinema, and internet-native storytelling.

At only 19, he has already directed several short films, released a game on Steam, and collected more than ten selections and awards across national and international festivals and creative competitions.

His work is marked by a DIY spirit with unusually big ambitions: projects built with a personal voice, sharp visual identity, and the drive to turn small-team ideas into things that feel much larger than expected.

He has also given talks in several Spanish cities about his creative process. Today, he is preparing a larger-budget game release and gaining recognition in the indie game development community for his bold, personality-driven approach to making games.

Overbit

Overbit is a fourth-wall-breaking pixel-art horror-comedy RPG set inside a collapsing retro operating system, where rhythm-driven bullet battles collide with broken programs, strange file-creatures, and a computer that knows you are watching.

After booting a mysterious virtual machine, you discover an entire world living inside your computer, and corruption is tearing it apart. Explore File Explorer, System Settings, bizarre applications, and the Internet Zone; solve puzzles and secrets; help half-corrupted citizens; and face musical battles built around original character tracks, bullet patterns, rhythm minigames, and unpredictable surprises. Overbit turns the desktop, cursor, files, pop-ups, and fake errors into part of the adventure as you uncover the source of the decay and decide whether the system deserves a second chance.

Majoneko

Majoneko is a demanding puzzle-platformer about a witch cat, a magic teleporting ball, and one enormous castle standing between her and a kidnapped prince.

Play as Hikare, a witch cat tasked with rescuing the prince from the evil Queen of the Highlands. Hikare cannot jump: instead, you must aim her magic ball, predict its trajectory, and teleport the instant it touches the floor. Every climb asks for careful angles, precise timing, and the nerve to risk another fall to the bottom. Released in 2023 by Fancy Cat Studios and Daviidly, Majoneko turns a simple movement rule into a difficult vertical puzzle, with faster routes to master and leaderboard times waiting at the castle's summit.

Bisto!

Bisto turns the world around you into a real-life bingo board. Race your friends to find and photograph everyday objects, claim your squares, and complete a line before anyone else.

Every match gives players a fresh 5x5 board filled with objects and creative prompts. Use your phone camera to prove each discovery, think laterally when a challenge is not as obvious as it looks, and race to finish a row before your opponents. Bisto works indoors, outdoors, at parties, or while exploring a new place: wherever you play, the real world becomes the board and every round creates a different collection of photos and memories.
